Day 01: Khajuraho – Jhansi – Agra
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Full day at leisure
- Afternoon: Drive to Jhansi (177 kms / 4 hrs)
- Arrive Jhansi & board train for Agra (1755 / 2025 hrs)
- Meeting and assistance on arrival at the railway station and transfer to the hotel
- On arrival in Agra, check – in at the hotel
Agra
Agra is famous as the home to one of the Seven modern Wonders of the World the Taj Mahal. This city having been the capital of the Mughal dynasty for over hundred years till 1650 there are many Mughal monuments of repute.

Day 02: Drive to Jaipur
- Early Morning: Visit the Taj Mahal to experience the beauty at sunrise. Witness the magical effects caused by the reflections of the changing colours of the rising sun on this brilliant white marble building
The Taj Mahal

The inimitable poem in white marble was built over a period of 22 years (1631-1653), using a workforce of 22000 people, by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. The Taj Mahal presents a wonderous sight at different time of the day – at dawn, during the day, at sunset and even on a moonless night. Needless to say it is exquisite on a moonlit night.
- Return to hotel for breakfast
- Later, visit the Agra Fort
Agra Fort

The Agra Fort was built by three Mughal Emperors starting from Akbar the Great in 1565 AD. The fort is a masterpiece of design and construction. Within the fort are a number of exquisite buildings including Jahangir’s Palace, Khaas Mahal,Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas and Musamman Burj - the Octagonal Tower, where Emperor Shah Jahan, the builder of the Taj Mahal was imprisoned by his son Aurangazeb for seven long years and died a prisoner.
- Afternoon: Leave for Jaipur visiting the deserted ruins at Fatehpur Sikri en route (238 kms / 7 hrs)
Fatehpur Sikri

The exquisite city of Fatehpur Sikri was built by Akbar the Great in 1569, in red sandstone, with its various palaces and mosques. It was abandoned 14 years after its creation on account of political reasons. The Diwan–i–am , a vast courtyard where the emperor gave public audience, daily, whenever he was in town, Diwan–i–khas, a large quadrangle meant for private audience and conferences, the treasury, Pachisi court, the Emperors private living quarters, Jodha Bai’s Palace, Mariam’s Palace, Birbal’s Palace, the Turkish Sultana’s Palace, the School for the royal children, Hawa Mahal and Panch Mahal are some of the important buildings of this residential complex. The Friday Mosque and the exquisite tomb of Sheik Salim Chisti are in the religious grounds set aside in a separate enclosure adjacent to the secular buildings.

Jaipur
Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, is colour washed pink the colour associated with auspiciousness and Rajput hospitality. This Pink City of fairy tale palaces, rugged fortresses perched on barren hills, and a city of broad avenues is picturesque. The first planned city of its time, Jaipur is encircled by a formidable wall.

Day 03: In Jaipur
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Morning: Take an excursion to Amer Fort
- Experience an Elephant ride to ascend the hill on which the fort is situated
Amber Fort

The capital of the erstwhile State of Jaipur until 1728 is perched on a hill. It has halls of Public and Private audience, a Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors) various marble palaces which are marvelous
examples of ancient Rajput architecture. The Temple of Amba (Mother Goddess), the patron deity of the Royal family is at the entrance to the palace.
- Later, proceed for a visit of the City Palace & Jantar Mantar (the Observatory). Drive past the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)
City Palace
The former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. It now houses a museum with a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes, an armoury of the Mughals and Rajputs with weapons of arms, an art gallery with an excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit.
Jantar Mantar
An astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 18th century, which is remarkable for its accuracy of the instruments even in the present times.
Hawa Mahal

Drive past the Palace of Winds, known popularly as Hawa Mahal, which is just a façade built for the Ladies of the Royal household in the 19th century.

Day 04: Drive to Delhi
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Morning: Free for shopping
- Later, drive to Delhi (262 kms / 6 hrs)
- On arrival in Delhi, check – in at the hotel
- Evening: Free for own activities
Delhi
The capital of India, is a fascinating city with complexities and contradictions, beauty and dynamism, where the past co-exists with the present. Many dynasties ruled from here and the city is rich in the architecture of its monuments. Delhi is not only the present metropolis of India but also a Necropolis. Because of its location, being on the banks of the river Yamuna, many cities have risen and fallen over the last five millennium.

Day 05: Leave Delhi
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Morning: Sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting the Rajghat, Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk
- Cycle Rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk
Rajghat
This is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. It is a black marble platform that marks the spot of Gandhi's cremation on 31 January 1948. It is left open to the sky while an eternal flame burns perpetually at one end. It is located on the banks of the river Yamuna in Delhi in India on Ring Road officially known as Mahatma Gandhi Road. A stone footpath flanked by lawns leads to the walled enclosure that houses the memorial.
Drive past the Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), India’s largest mosque and the famous bazaars of Chandni Chowk which is adjacent to both the Fort and the Mosque.
- Afternoon: Sightseeing tour of New Delhi driving past India Gate, Presidential Palace, Government Secretariat and visiting Qutub Minar
Qutub Minar

A tower of Victory which was built in the 12th century by Qutabuddin Aibak. Within the spacious courtyard of the adjoining Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque stands the famous Iron Pillar, which dates back to the 4th century AD and bears a Sanskrit inscription.
- Later, transfer to the international airport, to board flight back home
